From Simple to Grand Plus
Hotel Klarer stands for tradition and living history. Our Engadine house has a long and fascinating past, with a history dating back to 1565.
Each of our rooms has remained true to its original style and features an individually hand-carved wooden door. No two rooms are alike – each has its own unique character and charm.
With the exception of the “Simple” Room, all rooms are equipped with a TV, radio and hairdryer. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
Limited parking spaces are available directly at the hotel on our private car park.
Discover the Engadin free of charge with the public transport ticket, including trains and buses. You will receive the ticket when staying with us for two nights or more. The ticket will be sent to you by email in advance and can already be used during your journey to and from the hotel.

Grand room
A large room with a sitting area with a table. On request we also have rooms with balcony and/or a bath tub. In order to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we ask you to tell us your individual wishes when you make your reservation, because not all rooms have the same features.
Standard room
Cosy double rooms, some of them with local Swiss stone pine. Equipped with a private bathroom with shower, toilet and a beautiful view. These can also be booked as single rooms.
Economy room
The somewhat simpler Engadine rooms with running water. Shower and toilet are located on the floor.
These rooms are also rented out as single rooms.
Grand Plus
Are you travelling with the family and would like to sleep all together in one room again?
Our family rooms have three beds and enough space for an additional extra bed.
Not every family room is designed in the same way, some have a sofa bed and therefore a seating option is then omitted. We do our best to fulfil your wishes and make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Simple double room
Just to spend the night without extras? But still cosy and rustic? Then our simplest and cheapest room 16 is the right one!
There are two single beds and a wardrobe, no TV and no washbasin. The shower and toilet are on the same floor as in the Eco rooms for two rooms together. The rooms can be booked for one or two persons
For a good start into the day
Every morning from 7:30 to 10:00 am, our cosy Arvenstübli Seletta welcomes you to a rich and varied breakfast buffet.
Enjoy freshly baked bread and light, flaky croissants from our in-house bakery, along with a fine selection of cheese, ham, cold cuts and homemade jam.
Our buffet is complemented by a variety of yoghurts, fresh fruit salad and homemade Bircher muesli. We also offer gluten-free products and plant-based milk, of course.
We place great importance on regional produce: most of our products are sourced directly from local producers in the region.
Breakfast is included in the room rate.
Your friend on four paws
Your dog is welcome in our hotel as well as in the restaurant.
In the restaurant we ask you to keep them on a leash. For the overnight stay we charge CHF 12.00
Price reduction for children
- - Children under 2 years stay free of charge in their parents' room.
- - Children from 3 to 12 years who stay with their parents pay CHF 35.00 per night.
- - Children and young people up to the age of 12 are exempt from the tourist tax

Up to 8 days before arrival: free cancellation,
7 to 2 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee,
1 day before arrival or in case of no-show: 100% cancellation fee,
During holiday periods (*) a 100% cancellation fee applies from 7 days before arrival,
*Holiday periods: December 25 to 31, February, July and August,
Special cancellation conditions apply to group bookings of 5 rooms or more,
