From Economy to Grand
The Hotel Klarer stands for tradition. An Engadine house whose history goes back to 1565. Each room has remained true to its style until today – and is decorated with an individually hand-carved room door. None of the rooms are the same as the other. Our rooms are available in three different styles: Grand, Standard and Eco. All rooms are equipped with television /radio and hair dryer. We also have free Wifi and a private parking lot with limited parking space.
Discover the Upper Engadine free of charge with the public transport including ticket for train and bus, which you can get at the reception from two nights onwards. You can find the area of validity and informations here.
Grand room
A large room with a sitting area with a table. On request we also have rooms with balcony and/or a bath tub. In order to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we ask you to tell us your individual wishes when you make your reservation, because not all rooms have the same features.

Standard room
Cosy double rooms, some of them with local Swiss stone pine. Equipped with a private bathroom with shower, toilet and a beautiful view. These can also be booked as single rooms.

Grand Plus
Are you travelling with the family and would like to sleep all together in one room again?
Our family rooms have three beds and enough space for an additional extra bed.
Not every family room is designed in the same way, some have a sofa bed and therefore a seating option is then omitted. We do our best to fulfil your wishes and make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Simple double room
Just to spend the night without extras? But still cosy and rustic? Then our simplest and cheapest room 16 is the right one!
There are two single beds and a wardrobe, no TV and no washbasin. The shower and toilet are on the same floor as in the Eco rooms for two rooms together. The rooms can be booked for one or two persons

For a good start into the day
In our Arvenstübli Seletta, a rich breakfast buffet with cheese, Salsiz and homemade jam awaits you every morning from 7.30 to 10.00 am. In addition, there are oven-fresh breads, pastries and airy croissants – handmade in our own bakery.
Your friend on four paws
Your dog is welcome in our hotel as well as in the restaurant.
In the restaurant we ask you to keep them on a leash. For the overnight stay we charge CHF 8.00 to 18.00 depending on the size.
Price reduction for children
- Children under 6 years stay free of charge in their parents' room.
- Children from 7 to 12 years who stay with their parents pay CHF 35.00 per night.
- If children sleep in their own room, there is a 25% discount of the room price.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations are possible free of charge for direct bookings up to five days before arrival.
In case of later cancellation or if the guest does not arrive, the total amount is due.
