Local specialities

Hospitality at the Klarer Restaurant

Enjoy in one of our cozy rooms our traditional Engadin dishes, various rösti or vegetarian and vegan homemade and lovely prepared dishes

SULER

“Santons”  – that’s the name of the hand-sized, clayey nativity figures from Provence. They are displayed in small showcases set into the pine wood wall. Each figure has a story to tell.

In the Suler we serve our local specialities such as capuns, pizochels and various rösti dishes. With fresh ingredients, of course.

Oldboy

There is a sweet smell in the air. No wonder: because the Café Oldboy is right next to the pastry shop of the Hotel Klarer. Ordinary coffee house atmosphere? Not quite. Nostalgic photos of former students of the Lyceum and of Zuoz adorn the walls.

Combine your coffee and cake break with a little journey of discovery back into the past!

Stüva veglia

During the high season, our restaurant is open on Friday and Saturday evenings. Secure yourself a table in the Stüva veglia . Come by and let us surprise you!

The Stüva Veglia is a replica – the original can be seen in the Engadine Museum in St. Moritz.

Children corner

Light colours. Engadine joie de vivre. The mural by the artist Peter Dernier decorates our Stüvetta. Enjoy your coffee with a delicious piece of cake in this wonderful room while your children have fun in the play corner.
